Artist Bio
My name is Amanda Burger. I am a recent graduate from the University of North Dakota,
with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art and Honors. I plan to go on to complete my Masters in Art Education.
Growing
up in a rural Midwest community helped me learn quickly that to find
ways to entertain myself, I had to be creative. This drive for
creativity helped me find my passion for art.
My
primary outlet for this passion is painting. The subject of my current
work deals with the relationship between the natural world and the
industrial one. I feel that the human body is an important and
beautiful tool to convey this relationship.
